I’ve been passing by this place for years and finally decided to stop. I’m kicking myself for not doing so sooner. The food was excellent, the service was good, and the specials were inviting and tasty. I enjoyed my meal outside and appreciated the no-nonsense, good cooking, and great value this place offers.

I ordered a half slab of baby back ribs, a whole fried catfish, and half a pound of gizzards. The ribs were pretty good, although it was clear they had been kept warm for a while. The flavor was good, they were tender, and not burnt. They could have used a bit more BBQ sauce. The fish was fresh and delicious, and the size was impressive. The mac and cheese was decent, and I particularly enjoyed the baked beans. The gizzards were prepared exceptionally well, crunchy on the outside and tender inside, with good seasoning. It’s a small and simple place, but the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Please note it’s carry-out only.

Apart from the lack of indoor dining, this place is excellent. The outdoor dining option is available, and while I’ve been here several times, I’ve never been disappointed. The only hiccup was a missing order of extra wings and bread with a catfish nugget meal during one visit.

The food here is fantastic! It’s simple, delicious, and the portion sizes are reasonable. The mac and cheese, beans, and potato salad were all prepared perfectly. We tried the fish sandwich, and the catfish was clean and had a perfect crispy breading. The prices were reasonable, and we were impressed enough to plan on returning frequently.
